When fresh meat is vacuum-sealed, the bag is flexible.
Once the plastic bag is in the freezer, it loses its flexibility and becomes rigid.
If you handle the meat by the ends of the bag, you risk breaking the vacuum seal.
A small tip that helps you keep your meats fresh even longer.
Hermetically sealed, this packaging allows you to store your meats in your freezer in OUR specific bags for over a year (as long as the vacuum seal remains intact—see handling instructions).
Vacuum-sealed packaging also allows you to thaw your meats in slightly warm water.
Additionally, once rinsed with water, the bag we use is recyclable.
EX: Tonight, Mr. enjoys a steak and Mrs. a boneless chicken breast. Simply place in water for a few minutes and cook. No more family packs or freezing the leftovers… Plus, everyone eats exactly what they want without compromise.
Take a fresh three-pound roast and freeze it in your freezer. It takes several hours to freeze completely through. Condensation forms inside the roast, leading to water accumulation, which then freezes and expands. This expansion damages the fibers that retain the meat’s juices.
Who hasn’t forgotten a container full of liquid in the freezer, only to have it burst or spill once frozen?
ULTRA-FREEZING is done immediately after the meat is sliced and packaged. This way, the meat retains its original color and flavor, while preserving its tenderness and all the nutrients of fresh meat. Just a few minutes in cold water and it’s ready to cook. (See vacuum packaging)
